Bob Gherardi My goal upon finishing each piece is the desire to have it displayed on my own wall. I need to be as excited about it as I expect the viewer to be before it leaves me to enter into someone else's world. Thank you to all of you who have decided to make my art a part of your collection - your life.
To here again and again, "I see something new in it each time I look at it," is the ultimate compliment to my art. I love knowing they continue to speak and bring new life day after day, year after year of being with them. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or comments. I would love to know your thoughts about my art.

"I do sense a making of a commentary on time. Not time in the quantitative sense but rather the effect of time on lives and objects. Still lifes such as Bob Gherardi's can be seen as the recording of the cumulative effect of time with an unstated understanding that objects (and by extension life) continue beyond what we see now. On the other hand his paintings can be seen as a snapshot, a singular point of time meant to capture an impression of what is here now. We can especially admire how the chosen subjects of his work continue to 'fall' as if to show how they somehow continue to 'live' and are not static objects. Bob Gherardi's ability to see beyond the broken into the almost undetachable beauty continues to capture our hearts through his work."
